Airport guard dogs are much more than friendly faces that greet passengers traveling to and from their destinations. You may remember the last time we mentioned Piper, who is what we consider to be the world's coolest airport runway patrol dog. Since 2014, the canine has been keeping the runways of Traverse City's Cherry Capital Airport clear of wildlife and other dangers.
Piper already has a doting Instagram fan base, but his owner Brian Edwards recently took to Reddit to answer the world's questions about what very well may be one of the best jobs around. From what exactly they do all day to the gear Piper dons for the job, here are a few highlights from the conversation. You can check out the entire thread over on Reddit.
