Paris has been photographed in just about every way known to
humanity, but soon you"ll be able to see it from a new perspective: from
inside a floating hotel on the River Seine.
Off-Paris Seine will open this
spring as a three-star hotel with 54 rooms and four suites, all inside a
converted catamaran, reported the website The Local.
There are already
restaurants and houseboats to be found on the Seine, but planners say this
will be the first of its kind.

5, 2015 The hotel was built in Normandy and will be towed to its permanent
spot along the Quai d"Austerlitz in the 13th arrondissement, near the Charles
de Gaulle Bridge.
The area had been used as an unofficial refugee camp for
hundreds of migrants before Paris" Citysurfing and hotel chain Elegancia
collaborated on the property.

While
you may be tempted to jump into the Seine while you stay here, there will be a
50-foot pool on site, as well as a terrace to enjoy the waterside view.
Rates
will go anywhere from $171 to $483 per night.
The hotel"s architect told The
Local that guests may feel a motion "akin to rocking," it"s nothing so serious
you"ll need to bring Dramamine onboard.
